Connections and service procedures
Installation notes
- For PVC-U or PVC-C solvent unions, allow the catalog-stated curing period before pressurizing. Threaded unions use PTFE tape and are hand-tightened.
- For flanged connections, align the valve and stub flanges with a flat gasket, position the retaining bolts and tighten evenly.
Maintenance notes
Maintenance is performed only after the circuit is depressurized. The catalog specifies vaseline or silicone for seal lubrication and warns against grease or mineral oil.
